 Welcome to Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA)
SIA is a non-profit organization that provides services for immigrants and refugees in Saskatoon. Our organization works in partnership with community and immigrant-serving agencies, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), and a wide network of private and government funders.
SIA is delighted to be the recipient of the first annual EMCY national (Enriching My Canada and Yours) Foundation's Humanitarian Award, which pays tribute to those organizations or individuals who dedicate themselves to "making a difference by upholding human dignity and promoting harmony between all people."
These are
national awards, given based on how the nominees reflect diversity in
Canada, with particular attention to vision and leadership, impact,
innovation and achievement , and community leadership. SIA's nomination
was based on its MY WAY Program for immigrant and refugee women, as
well as on its 43 year history of promoting diversity, equity, and
fairness in Saskatoon and area.
