Program Description: This SIA program is primarily for International Student Spouses to have the opportunity to attend classes while their Spouses attend University. International Students are welcome to join their spouse in attending these classes whenever possible. The ISSP Classes offer Canadian employment and life skills training, community engagement opportunities (tours & field-trips), as well as opportunities to improve English skills, learn about other cultures, and build a support system of new friends.
The program starts Sept. 9th 2009 and will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These classes start at 9:30 am and end at 12:30 pm. Every other Friday there are Family classes from 6-8pm. It is a drop-in program, so participants can come to the classes they wish to attend.
