3rd Annual Eastview Walk Against Hate

You are invited to the 3rd Annual Eastview Walk (and chalk) Against Hate that will take place at James Anderson Park on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 6:30-8:30pm.

In June 2021, an Eastview community member was the victim of a hate crime.  The community came together to walk in solidarity with our neighbour and his family and to stand up against acts of hate. We believe that all citizens of Saskatoon deserve to be safe.

Since then, the walk has become an opportunity to come together and play an active role in our community effort to show that love is louder than hate.  This act of solidarity in turn, creates a safer and more inclusive community for all.

Join us in a walk of unity, spread the message that love is loudest, and commit to standing up against all forms of hate through our ” I PLEDGE” Sidewalk Chalk Campaign!

The attached poster has further details about the walk. Please help us to spread the word to make this year’s walk better than ever!

You can find updates about the walk on the linked social media platforms.

For any media interviews or inquiries, please reply back to this e-mail address or text/call 306-250-7075.

We look forward to hosting you at our Walk and Chalk!

The event is finished.
