
Let’s Jig! A Fun Métis Dance Workshop
Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA) invites you to join us for a lively and welcoming Métis jigging workshop led by Métis jigger Johnny Caisse.
This interactive session offers participants an introduction to the cultural significance and history of Métis jigging. Johnny will share the roots of this vibrant dance tradition before guiding participants through easy to learn, beginner friendly steps. Whether you are new to Canada or simply new to jigging, this workshop is a fun and engaging way to experience Métis culture through movement and music.
No dance experience is required and all ages and backgrounds are welcome. Come as you are just bring your curiosity, energy, and willingness to try something new. This workshop is more than a dance class it is a celebration of culture, connection, and community.
