Recruiting and Retraining Diverse Employees

Hosted by the Saskatoon Engineering Society (SES) in partnership with the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA)

Join us on Saturday, October 18 at the University of Saskatchewan for a professional development session designed for both employers and internationally trained professionals.

The day features two learning streams:

Employers will gain tools for recruiting and retaining internationally trained engineers, including strategies for evaluating credentials, intercultural communication, and retention practices.

Job seekers and newcomers will learn practical career strategies, from tailoring resumes to improving communication and navigating the Canadian job market.

Participants will also earn 2.5 CPD Credits, receive a Certificate of Attendance, and connect with others during a networking luncheon.

🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

🎟 Tickets: Employers $30 in person, $15 virtual. Employees and Newcomers $8.
