Reel to Real Anti-Racism Film Festival
Join us on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination to watch Spirit to Soar, directed by Tanya Talaga and Michelle Derosier.
Following the film, our team will engage in a panel discussion with local educators and an Indigenous Elder to bring a deeper understanding of the hardships facing Indigenous Youth who must travel to complete their high school education.
Afterward, a draw will be held, in which the winners will receive a copy of Tanya Talaga’s book Seven Fallen Feathers and a selection of Indigenous handmade gifts.
