Summer Learning Series: Anti-Racism for Youth
An opportunity for youth to engage in anti-racism work! Giving them the tools to identify and address racism around them.
Youth ages 12-17 are invited to attend SIA’s Anti-Racism for Youth workshop on either Tuesday, July 25th or Thursday, August 17th from 1:00-4:00 pm.
This workshop is intended to provide interested youth with anti-racism vocabulary and concepts, learn about racism in the world around us, unpack biases, explore allyship and have tough conversations around racism.
Our workshop has been customized to fit the needs of this age range. We aim to create a space where participants feel welcome to ask questions and engage in a unique learning opportunity.
This is a free in-person event at our SIA offices, 601 B 1st Avenue N. Snacks will be provided!

These sessions are made available to the community at no cost with funding from the Saskatoon Community Foundation, SaskLotteries and SaskCulture.
