
Summer Learning Session: Anti-Racism Crash Course
Open to the public, join us to learn about the practice of anti-racism. Certificates are available to attendees.
Interested in starting your anti-racism journey? SIA invites you to attend one of our Anti-Racism Crash Course sessions being held this summer on either Monday, July 17th or Tuesday, August 1st. These sessions are intended for adults (ages 18 and up) who want to explore topics like the history of racist policies in Canada, race, intersectionality, forms of racism, an introduction to anti-racism, allyship, reconciliation and diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
We aim to create a space where participants feel welcome to ask questions and engage in a unique learning opportunity.
Certificates will be provided to those who attend the entire day and engage in a meaningful way. Snacks and drinks will be provided, please bring your own lunch.
This is a free in-person event at our SIA offices, 601 B 1st Avenue N.
