CareerNet is a unique program that helps Newcomers establish careers in Canada
“If you’re new to Canada and you’re looking for a way to launch into your professional field… and if you need someone to show you how to do it, then this program will be for you.” – Omotayo, CareerNet Mentee.
It’s not too late to apply for CareerNet!
The program helps clients in three ways:
1. An 8-week part-time class portion focused on learning employability and personal marketing skills (online).
2. An 8–12-week professional mentoring session – clients are paired with volunteer mentors from the same occupational field as themselves (online/phone/in-person depending on health region guidelines for C19).
3. One-to-one access to employment counsellors for personalized support.
